Protect your radio investment with this rigid protective shell and face shield for your Icom IC-705 portable radio.

Molded to firmly snap-in around the body of the radio, this one piece shell will protect your radio from scratch damage during transport/portable operation. The integrated “tilt-up” stand also acts as a carry handle. Package includes a removeable protective face shield (two styles available, see options) secured with a velcro cinch strap that loops around the radio. When in place the cover protects the screen, knobs and buttons without making contact. Toss into your “go” bag  with confidence that the radio body, front screen and controls are protected from possible damage.

The shell is designed to gently clamp the radio to stay put even without the thumb screw. Firmly push the radio into the shell such that the tripod port appears in the slot in the shell underneath.

• will hold a spare BP-272 or BP-307 lithium ion battery (snaps in) with lid
• other storage spaces to hold small items: RF adapters, mechanical pencils, etc.
